LIPA Trade Ally Award
Murtha Construction has been awarded the "Highest Energy Savings per Project" award at the 2010 LIPA Trade Ally awards breakfast.
Winning this award is especially gratifying to us as doing the right thing at a fair price is the BPI model for Building Performance contracting. In addition to this High Profile award, we are extremely proud to have the highest number of customer testimonials, highest ratio of approved projects sold, most Home Performance projects successfully completed and highest quality assurance scoring. Do the job right, move it through the process, take care of any issues promptly and make it as affordable as possible.
Murtha Construction pioneered the practice of assigning incentive, thereby reducing the barrier of Entry for our clients. Many of our clients live on limited means, and Energy Saving and reduced out of pocket costs are critical to them.
We "invented" and pioneered the now "industry standard" practice of gypsum wallboard "High Hat boxes". Our highly skilled weatherization installation crew is kept cool during hot summers in attics by simply placing a lawn sprinkler on our clients roof. In addition to lowering the attic temperature by 40 degrees, we have identified leaks during the install, allowing our clients to fix small problems before they became big ones.
